The Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (TSV) takes part in the DIAMAS consortium that aims to develop diamond open access publishing in Europe. The project has received a three-year funding from the European Union and it was launched in September 2022. The consortium gathers together 23 organisations from 12 European countries.
Every year, The National Open Science and Research Coordination rewards open science practices.
The National Open Science Award is awarded to an individual or a research group, who or which has in their research and/or teaching work brought positive publicity to open science and/or advanced the culture of open scholarship or other open science practices.

The policy focuses on the culture of open scholarship of an organisation. In addition, previous policies will be supplemented with perspectives related to services, incentives, and interaction.
