The 2024 Open Science and Research (OS) monitoring results indicate a significant commitment from Finnish research organisations towards promoting openness.

The Publication Forum steering group appointed new panels for the term 2025-2028 on 30 September 2024. A total of 294 experts were selected for the panels.

The CoARA working group on Multilingualism and CoARA working group TIER organize a survey to CoARA member organizations on multilingualism and gender in research assessment (deadline for answers is 14th of October 2024).

The Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (TSV) organized a webinar on the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information and OpenAlex database.

The aim of the webinar was to support Finnish CoARA members in designing their Action Plans, to share good practices and to continue the dialogue around the reform of research assessment.
