The aim of the webinar was to support Finnish CoARA members in designing their Action Plans, to share good practices and to continue the dialogue around the reform of research assessment.
Signatories of the Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment (ARRA) are committed to design Action Plans that outline their organisations’ plans to implement the core commitments of the Agreement. To this end, the webinar offered a chance for fruitful exchange of ideas and inspiration for organisations that are in the process of drafting their Action Plans.
In the webinar, which took place on March 12, University of Oulu, Laurea University of Applied Sciences and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences showcased their Action Plans and shared the lessons learnt in the process. The presentations highlighted the fact that organisations are diverse and that the Action Plans must be customised to organisations’ context and mission.

The webinar also included a brief introduction to the activities of the Finnish National Chapter and recapitulation of the commitments of the Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment.
